To use or not to use a formalized process? 

 

I recently posted in our Resource Center on our web site a white paper on Multiple Attribute Decision Making.  I am curious as to your experiences in using formalized decision making methodologies and what methods or software you are using?    I think the projects need to be above $200,000 to justify the investment.  What is your minimum project size that you consider to be applicable for investing the time and effort?

I continue to be frustrated by suppliers of commercially available automated tape dispensers.  We seem to always have to rebuild these devices to meet our customer's reliability and uptime requirements.  How hard can it be to apply a piece of tape repeatably?  Has anyone found a good supplier of quality automated tape dispensers?  Al
